Essential oils can have varying therapeutic actions depending upon their specificity. Botanicals that act to relax are called relaxants, nervines and/or sedatives. At times an individual may require aid to support their body and mind to counterbalance the affects from the stressors of life.

Stone therapy is a great adjunct to your relaxation or remedial massage practice. Basalt or Granite stones are placed on the body and also used as a massage tool within a treatment. The use of hot and/or cold stones are applied to provide varying benefits ranging from reduction of inflammation to increased detoxification and vessel dilation for enhanced blood flow. A Pregnancy term is a demanding time with many physical changes experienced from muscle imbalance, musculoskeletal laxity and weakness to postural misalignment and deviation.
